Imo, if everything was covered in flowers the world would seriously be a better place and judging by the Chanel Spring 2015 Couture show, Karl Lagerfeld would agree with me. Not only was the collection fabulous, combining that oh-so-Chanel tweed with a glorious mix of brightly coloured fabric flowers, but did y'all see the set design?!
Apparently Lagerfeld is even more of a creative genius than originally thought, managing to conjure up an entire jungle in which to display his botanical clothing creations. If I could live in this collection I would. I'd sleep amongst those vines and wander round wearing crop tops embellished with sequins (my fave) and skirts blossoming with flowers that are literally the stuff of my dreams. Ngl, I also wouldn't mind befriending a couple of those handsome male models with the watering cans #haaiii
But back to Karl (is that to familiar? I just feel like we have a connection yanno.) I seriously applaud him for this collection and lets be honest, pretty much every collection he does. He's a guy who somehow manages to keep the traditional characteristics of Chanel whilst also making every collection modern and innovative. Remember the trainers paired with couture dresses last year? Karl is my kinda guy, someone plz hook us up.
